Pip assessment over telephone

So I had my assessment on the 15th of August just rung dwp and they have received the report and I will get my decision letter within 4-6 weeks is this time frame including your backpaymet if successful? But they did say over the phone it's been sent for processing does this mean that a decision as already been made?

    I've also done the self  assessment online and it's scored me 24 points for daily living allowance and 8 points for mobility

    Request a copy of your report then they'll see what descriptors they chose for you. Online self-treats and actual assessment results can very often be different (though it seems PIP assessments are now becoming more accurate, so if you yourself fully understand the descriptors and how PIP is assessed, your self-test results may be fairly close to what the assessor's report says).

    I don't know what being sent for processing means so you'll have to wait to hear from others on here who do.

    You can request the assessment report from DWP before a decision yes... they can send it to you as soon as they get it.

    Yes providing you live in the UK. That 4-6 week timescale is nothing more than a guide because there's no timescales for any decision. It depends on backlog in your area.
