Opodo refund

Hello,

I have booked flights with Qatar Airways through Opodo to travel Gatwick - Sydney and then Sydney - Sofia in August 2020.

These flights were cancelled due to Covid19 and I requested a refund on the 10th May. Its has been more than 90 days since I requested the refund and I have recieved nothing. 

I have contacted Opodo numerous times and they keep telling me that they are waiting for the airline to refund them so that they can refund me. However I have also contacted the airline directly who share my concern and they advised me that no refund request has been made by Opodo.

I understand many people are awaiting refunds in the current climate however do you think I have a cause for concern? If so do you have any advice as to how I can resolve this issue?

Start a chargeback claim against Opodo for failure to carry out your instructions

I have the same problem. I begun a chargeback with American Express and it was challenged by Opodo and upheld by Amex as I had not waited out the 90 days. I’ve since tried to reopen the dispute and Amex are telling me I’ve received a voucher and won’t be refunded - I haven’t received anything and now the booking on Opodo is no longer live. Not looking good but going to keep going with Amex to try and have the chargeback reopened.
