Hi, I am out of work at the minute but I am aiming to get into employment very soon through this agency but when i start getting my wages, I am putting a deposit down for Benidorm for 2 weeks for next year, but I heard June, July and September are the hottest months to go, is that true? also, I never been abroad before, I never been on a plane so I am looking forward to it. I got my passport which doesn't run out till 2028 so I am sorted with passport, but what I want to know, is Benidorm like the TV show? is it good? I will be going on my own, so I am sure I will make new friends over there. Which town do I choose? new town or old town? I can't wait for the night life over there.

Also, which travel agency is the best and which do I choose? Althams or TUI?

The TV show 'Benidorm' is a comedy and as such shows caricatures of the types of people who may stay in the type of hotel shown.  No hotel will actually be like that on in reality.  It would go broke in no time.  You missed August off your list and that is likely to be hotter than June or September.

Oh right, so is August a better time then?

Oh yes they will - LOL
We have been to Benidorm many times and the show did capture the type of people who you will see there (and any other Spanish resort to be honest). Obviously I cannot comment about the Middlesbrough Swingers association as we missed out on that one!
My first solo foreign trip was to Benidorm many years ago - happy days and great memories - you will have a ball.

Jack, I hope you are not too naive.....if you are you might get 'eaten alive'.

I'd try and find out all the pros, cons, scams, and possible pitfalls before being a first time visitor to any place with a dodgy reputation.  The Trip Advisor forum for Benidorm ain't a bad place to do some research.
