Hi all.  My wife and myself have seen a holiday to the Greek island of Corfu, and we would like to go. I haven't booked it yet but I did hear there is a form that needs completing prior departure. I have looked on many holiday sites but can't find any information regarding this. We are a tad frightened to go on holiday but many people seem to be going regardless.
Kind regards Jeff.

It's called a plf form.  Open google search for Greece PLF and you can't miss it

The thing to be careful of is you are sent a QR code to your email at midnight (Greek time) on your day of arrival.  That means if your flight is due to arrive at 1am local time the QR code will be sent to your email while you are flying which means you will need to connect to the Internet on a smart phone either through roaming or airport wifi as soon as you arrive.

Not really an issue given current EU roaming regulations.
  • Thank you for the replies.
I have booked the Holiday now, it did go up in price since i first looked but it's done.   The flight is 0810  so should have arrived on my phone by then, hopefully.
    Kind regards Jeff.

I was pointing it out because it means travellers need a smartphone to hand on arrival and if they've not had their QR code prior to departure they'll need to ensure that roaming is enabled and set up correctly or that the airport they are arriving at has wifi.  The EU regulation only ensures mobile operators don't charge more than usual for accessing the internet abroad, not that all phones are set up to be used abroad or that all citizens own a smartphone. ;)

With the FCO advising against non-essential travel to most countries it's not surprising that the ones where travel is currently permitted are selling well, which is usually what causes prices to increase.
