Keeping pesky wasps at bay

I think this is the best forum. I live in an an area where there are loads of flowers, and trees and plenty of places for wasps to make their nests. Kah, whatever you do don't use a flame thrower to get rid of it! This week a man from Bath tried this, set fire to the tree and was very badly stung by the wasps.
They usually leave their nest in winter. It's actually quite beautiful if you want to have a look them.
Silverwhistle, a book, me too. But I wonder if these days we'd hear the shreiks across the country of 'I can't charge my phone'
