Has anyone else checked there banking app over the weekend to find an unusual black symbol against the current account balance panel?
This is on the home page, in the top right of the account balance panel. It looks like a black triangle with an explanation mark (like a warning sign).
Our account is fine, never goes overdrawn.
Did a live chat with Virgin, and they say it's a known issue, and there's no issue with the account.
Just a bit alarming, and wondered if others are affected.

I've read stories of banks being able to freeze accounts with no advice due to investigation etc. (We don't have anything to hide)
It's a bit worrying when it's the main account for all day to day bills. My farts hospitalize small children0 -

The thing that spooked me is that recently we made a large transaction from this account, to pay a mortgage off (there's a paper trail for everything). Or that the bank may have flagged the account for fraudulent activity they had noticed.
We generally keep very little in our current accounts.
In the event that anything drastic happened, we'd be fine. It's just the inconvenience of notifying people / companies of alternative details. It's a headache no one needs. My farts hospitalize small children0 -
In ringing them for another reason, mentioned it in passing and it is a bug after the latest update. Nothing to worry about.1
