Flight entitlement advise?

was due to go to Portugal in may for a wedding however due to coronavirus, we couldn’t. We got a travel voucher as the wedding had been postponed to October. Once we knew the dates, we rebooked our flights and had to pay an extra £200. Recently we received an email to advise they changed our flight from Gatwick to Heathrow. I got an email to say I could either go online to accept the flight or opt for a voucher or call for a refund. After a while I eventually got through and advised I wanted a refund. I was asked if I wanted a voucher instead in which I refused as I wanted to fly from Gatwick. I was asked for my last 4 digits on my card to check the account the refund would go to. Was advised it would be 7-14 days. 

I hadn’t heard anything for a whole so thought I’d go onto “manage my booking”. Have seen they have given me a voucher. Any ideas what I could do? I have been bombarding their fb hoping it gets me somewhere. I paid for the two different amounts on two different accounts. Would I be able to go through my cards if I don’t get anywhere with BA? They said they could do this but I read on their FAQ’s and all it says is they don’t give out cash refunds once you’ve accepted a voucher for the ORIGINAL flight, not if you’ve tried to reuse is.

It could be a misunderstanding, they may refund the extra you paid, but a refund in the original amount may have to be as a voucher as that is how you paid for the second booking.
