I set up Paym when it was first introduced using the current account I was using at that time. I then closed that account without thinking to change my Paym details and I am now unable to set it up on my new account. I have contacted both banks and neither can help me. My old bank says they can't do anything because the account has been closed down and the new one says the old bank has to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Are you saying that you have a pay monthly contract with a mobile phone provider that comes out of your bank account (presumably by direct debit). If so then just advise your mobile phone company of your new bank details and they will amend the direct debit accordingly.

If you are setup to access your phone account details online then you may be able to amend the details yourself otherwise call customer services.

I think PAYM is a  mobile payment system in the OPs case .

It does seem that it is the old bank that needs to de-register you from the system - I suspect your issue is in working out how to get a hold of the appropriate team, as they are unlikely to be be customer facing. I would try the old bank again and be very clear you need someone from the team that deals with PAYM
