How would you find a vehicle that has been SORNd.....?

Do you mean how can you physically find where it's parked?

Or do you mean how can you get the contact details of the registered keeper?

The answer to either is the same... You can't.

And it's the same if it isn't SORNed.

Maybe the OP could clarify the question and provide some more information about the circumstance and exactly what they would like to be able to find out?
