If the tour (booked through an ABTA member) is cancelled but the flights are still going, what are you covered for?

Comments

  • You’ll get a refund of the tour (well, you should) but if your flights are booked elsewhere then you’re stuck with them (providing they operate).

The answer to your question may be; 'Depends......'
For instance, if you are insured for cancellation where the FCO advises against 'all but essential travel' and that applies to your destination you could be covered for everything except your excess.
