Jake already knows that they have to win first before anything he says can happen. ? ....... He is a cloud dreamer. It's what VCS class as their legal dept, such a joke4 -

I've checked his profile on LinkeIn as soon as the letter arrived. His profile description just looks like a copy and paste. Pathetic.

Sorry I forgot to reply. I don't remember very well. I think it was £50 or £60 rising to £100 if not paid after a certain amount of time.beamerguy said:How much was each ticket ???in which case it was actually £100 per pcn with an early discount of 40% down to £60 for early payment5 x £100 = £500 + legal charges for the court claimwe have seen these where an extra £60 debt collection charge per pcn has been added on , meaning we expected something like5 x £160 = £800 + the legal chargesso as Umkomaas pointed out is unusual to see one that omits the spurious addon charges , perhaps they are sick of losing or having claims struck out due to those spurious charges ?? certainly interesting information3 -
I think the OP needs to keep an eye on this as they quote "ESTIMATED" costs which is clearly scare tactics. These will firm up if a claim is issued . Then they will add the fake £60

I thought this was going to be easy.
They issued 5 PCNs. I believe three of them where due to the parking permit falling off from display for an entire weekend where we didn't use the car, and the other two might have been issued due to reception's failure to provide us with a longer parking permit when we renewed the lease for a month. In both cases it wasn't our fault, but I don't know how we'll be able to prove this.0 -
Pm a board guide like Soolin or Savvy and ask them to edit posts and remove pictures etcDess said:
I've been trying to take the pictures down so that I can edit them but I have no idea how to do this. I wonder if it's possible. Any idea?Redx said:Yes redact any references , any VRM details , any PCN references , plus any names and addresses
The topic you have posted about is never easy , especially when it comes to the small print1 -

So, you didn't breach that term. That terms doesn't say 'without a permit on display'.
Your car was never 'without a permit'. It was in the car and quite possibly in place on the dash when you parked it, and *someone* may have blown through the vents or rocked the car to dislodge it. Can you imagine?!
How old it that tenancy agreement? It threatens a criminal offence; clamping and release fees have been illegal for EIGHT YEARS!
I too am very very interested to see that they are not threatening to add any costs. I wonder why...very interesting. Maybe they just want to extract £500 from you and actually that's a sensible stance for a multi-ticket case.
However, complain to your landlord and the Management Company URGENTLY that three of these PCNs were from one parking event (by the way, that's a very strong defence point as well, when you get the inevitable claim).
PLEASE NOT EVERYONE THAT THIS OP WON'T BE ABLE TO USE THE TEMPLATE DEFENCE IF THE CLAIM HAS NO ADD-ONS.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

First of all, clamping on private land was outlawed in 2102, so the bottom line is unlawful. Forcing someone to pay a release fee is unlawful.
Parking a vehicle on private property is not a criminal offence so cars can never be illegally parked on private land.
Secondly, where exactly in your lease/AST does it explain the "applicable" meaning of the clause in your contract?
Who does it say must supply the permit?
Where does it say a permit must be displayed?
What does it say about the consequences of not displaying a permit?
Does it mention an unregulated parking scammer?
Does it say an unregulated parking scammer can issue a scamvoice if a permit is not displayed?
Does it say a scamvooice must be paid to an unregulated parking scammer?
Does it mention court claims may be issued by an unregulated parking scammer?
