i want to book train tickets and B&B for a short break. What insurance can I get in case of another lockdown so I get my money back?

  • You would have to shop around but you may also like to consider booking refundable train tickets and accommodation.  This will cost you more than non refundable but I think I would do this anyway from now on no matter what the pandemic situation.

    The B&Bs I'm looking at are non-refundable.

i doubt you will get cover as the  possibility  is now a known risk. Insurance is to cover for unexpected risks.

Standard travel insurance that covers COVID-19, stay sure is often quoted as one that offers this cover.

I think Staysure cover is only for those renewing annual insurance where they already had that cover.
