Hi I have just checked my credit file for the first time with check my file and have a missed payment from 2018 from shop direct finance, I understand this is very but I have never made a late payment in the sense of missing a payment, I have done buy now pay later and always paid before the date ended.
I have looked at all my emails received from very over 2018 and never was sent or received any information about a missed payment. All I can gather is this is possibly due to a delivery fee but is there anything I can do.
ThisiThis my only bad bit of credit I can see on check my file and my score is described as good at 752, but my partners is fair and 650 something he has 2 missed payments from 2015 so if there is anything I can do to get mine up a little I will.
Hoping to get a mortgage at 10% so I know our credit needs to really good.

The number is meaningless. Stop looking at it, it means absolutely nothing.
10% deposit mortgages are as rare as hens teeth at the moment, btw.1 -
Thanks oh yes well aware of the non existent mortgages we was actually hoping for 5% just before covid haha0

I’d just contact them querying it and asking them to remove it1

I'm in the same boat regarding a missed payment with very, it was £3.95 P&P in 2009 (bought something on BNPL and didn't realise the P&P had to be paid within 30 days) and is still showing on my credit report so have recently contacted Shop Finance to try and have this removed. Their phone lines are currently out of use due to covid so I rang Very and they have emailed them on my behalf. Good luck with the mortgage application but be prepared as it's so difficult at the minute, I was approved for one with a 27% deposit and they have just pulled it with little explanation so currently going through an appeal. If that fails I will try another lender but might have to wait until things settle down (if that ever happens).0
