Travel to Turkey - documentation required?

Hello we are thinking of going to Turkey in October for a holiday ,it is still considered safe at the moment but i have Googled to see what documentation we need to enter the country. It is saying that we do not need a Visa this time but was saying that the Turkish government was THINKING of introducing a entry health certificate. Has anybody been recently and know what paperwork is required for a Turkish holiday.

Thanks for the reply ,i knew we will not need a visa but hope the airline knows about the entry form to fill in ,also i believe we now have to fill in a form for returning to the UK.NoodleDoodleMan said:0 -
i suspect the airlines will have them, Greece recently stopped Wizzair landing in Greece as they kept disgorging passengers into Greece without filling them in, this was sorted within hours. No airline is going to want a repeat in another country.1

Details are on gov.uk, including a link to the form (which can't be completed more than 48 hours of your arrival in the UK).Ganga said:Thanks for the reply ,i knew we will not need a visa but hope the airline knows about the entry form to fill in ,also i believe we now have to fill in a form for returning to the UK.

We flew into Antalya yesterday. No visa for British passport holders. Had to complete a passenger locator form. We filled in the one we downloaded from the EasyJet website, as directed by EasyJet. Anyone who hadn't completed it before boarding was given a longer IATA form to complete during the flight. All forms were collected, no matter which format, before disembarking the plane.1

Thanks for the info ,was Antalya airport busy? and how long did it take to clear the airport from landing to getting into your transfer/taxi ?sandsy said:We flew into Antalya yesterday. Not too busy. Longest part was disembarking as passengers kept ignoring crew's instructions to stay seated and not get luggage out of overhead lockers until row in front had departed. Crew quite annoyed. Only 2 groups in front of us at immigration. Had to wait about 10 mins for carousel to start up for hold baggage but then it all came off quite quickly. Found desk for our transfer easily. We were on the bus within 50 mins of landing. Had temperature taken twice on transfer bus before departure. Had to wait for other passengers before leaving - seemed to be using lots of minibuses with fewer passengers per vehicle. We were first stop off at Lara Beach and arrived within 90 mins of landing - so pretty good. Though first time in Turkey so nothing to compare to pre-Covid.2

Thanks for the detailed information ,we are thinking of returning to the Barut Lara hotel on Lara beach in October but wondered what the travelling would be like ,we know we would have to wear a mask in Newcastle Airport and on the plane and again in Antalya Airport. We normally book a private transfer as the waiting around for other passengers can be a drag ,we wondered how the travel companies got round putting 30/40 people on a coach to observe social distancing ,enjoy your holiday it is raining and very windy back in the UK.sandsy said:Not too busy.
