I have it on good authority that GQ is stuffing her wee face with cake and ice cream right this minute !

Some blogs are quite narrowly focused. Thrifty Leslie is about living on £1 per day. |I think she set up her blog after Weezl stopped posting here on MSE, to carry on the project of eating healthily for the lowest possible amount
Then there's Mean Queen's Life After Money. I don't follow that, she's a bit too extreme for me but she has been around a long time and still going.
Another category is the Financial Independence type of blog. The Frugalwoods is possibly the best known of these. But although they are now financially independent, they had very good incomes while they were saving for their lifestyle change. It's a lot easier to have a high percentage savings rate if you earn a lot to start with. But it's still interesting to read because of how focused they areIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!2 -
I used to read the Frugalwoods blog. I read about them through the Mr Money Mustache forum.
I strangely got an email from Life After Money today. I had forgotten about her as I think the emails must have been going to my junk box but for some reason went back to my normal inbox. I used to like reading her blog as she had cute cats.
This is probably a good time to catch up with all the blogs I used to follow as I'm indoors so much this year.1 -
I really enjoy Fairyland Cottage on YouTube. It's more focused on zero waste but v old style/frugal. She's got a lovely Irish voice which is nice.2
