Reclaim Rejection - Not Happy With Reasons

I have just received notification that my PPI claim has been rejected by Halifax and I am confused and a little aggravated at the reason and wonder if anyone else has had similar an what did you do?
They have said I had PPI between 2000 and 2002 on a mortgage I took out however I have been rejected mainly because they did not inform me of how much profit they would make from the PPI sale to the insurance company. The wording is more technical than this but it does say this is it's essence. This seems rather wrong that they can not tell me I am getting PPI, effectively take money from me without me knowing, giving it to someone else but then get away with that because they didn't tell me they were making a profit form the company they gave it to.
Is this really possible?

You need to re-read your letter as I feel you’ve got it very wrong. They’ve rejected your complaint (which sounds like you said you didn’t know you had it which is an incredibly weak complaint point as it’s almost always set up as a seperate direct debit payment to your mortgage payments) and then they’ve rejected the Plevin aspect which relates to commission they received for the PPI you took out with them as it doesn’t fall within the strictly defined parameters for a Plevin refund.
if I’ve got that right (about your complaint reasons) then it’s game over, thanks for playing. Time to move on with your life.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)2 -

I think you are confused.
The commission aspect only applies to rejected complaints. it does not apply to upheld complaints. The regulator did not require commission disclosure and it was only a change in the 2006 consumer credit act that required it. Although no-one, including hte regulator, noticed that. So, it was a bit of retrospective luck if you happen to have a debt covered by the CCA after 2008. It means nothing if the debt was not covered by the CCA or repaid prior to 2008.
It is not a complaint rejection reason as you seem to suggest.

Take another look at what it says.
