Can someone please help me identify this worm? I am starting to see larvae of this worm all over my carpet. Also helps if you advice me the possible extermination of this bad guy!

Carpet beetles are hairy, I don't think that one is.1

Use the google lens app to take a picture of it and it will probably find a match on the internet2

Certainly not carpet beetle larvae (speaking from recent experience) - they are stripy with hair, look much more like a caterpillar0

Being pedantic,it has 6 legs and a segmented body so it's an insect, not a worm..Where were you when they did Key Stage 2 Science?

It won't be carpet beetle if the carpets are all or mainly artificial fibre like the one pictured. Just as well; they're a devil to get rid of with modern, 'safe' chemicals.0
