Good news for 'end daters' - New date sorting tools!

At long last we have tools for sorting by date order! I've just had a quick play, sorting by date order puts the oldest ones first. The 00/00 (enter details once to be in every weekly/monthly draw) comps are at the very end, those ending today come just before them. We can't yet order them the other way round, but it's a start. There are bound to be a few snags!
The drop down menus are on the top left of the Competition Time board, select 'closing date' from the first, and 'open' from the second menu. The longest dates are first (ending in 2021) at the moment.

Thank you! Is anyone else having trouble with the dates being jumbled up? I have followed the instructions above but I have had the Bella issue 34 come up at the end of every single page from page 50 onwards? Not sure I've done something wrong.Be Kind, Work Hard, Stay Humble, Smile Often, Keep Honest, Stay Loyal, Travel When Possible, Never Stop Learning, Be Thankful Always and Love2

@yorkie18 There is 'tinkering' happening all the time, sometime that seems to disrupt the way things work temporarily. Try again, if still no joy email the forum teamI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. This does look as if it is working very well.
I have just done a quick look through and have found, around 27,28 & 29/09 there were a few that looked as if they were out of place. A closer look at 2 that were (are) among the 28/09's, were (are) showing in the title as 28/08. A quick look showed that these are posting errors and presumably the not visible mandatory end dates in the posts are set to the correct 28/09.
There was also one of my posts showing an end date of 27/09 in the title but was listed among the 29/09's. Again, checking the underlying date (and the comp site), I found I had entered the incorrect mandatory date so a quick edit has put this one right.
Assuming the mandatory end date is now also being used for removing expired comps, what is really needed now is for the underlying post date to be made visible somewhere prominent and so remove the need to put an end date in the title. There would then be additional description space in the title and there would not be any further end date format problems.
Has someone been through all the still current posts made prior to 1st July and added the new date to the posts?2 -

I cannot wait for the compers forum to get back to how it was - i miss it soooo much. I was an avid user but have not used it in ages! I have tried a few times this week but its still frustrating. Please Please come back MSE compers forum to a user friendly site - why oh why did they fix something that was not broken

And yet when i sort by end date to check any i might have missed it still doesn't show what i have already entered and you have to go into the posts to do that. Unsure why that hasn't been sorted out yet because it adds on a lot of time having to go into posts. There has been plenty of time to sort it out.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

If you use the Sort function by Closing Date, it does show the ticks and crosses on the main list, where you have used them.
The sort function does exactly that. It just sorts the main board into Closing Date order with all it's existing markers.
