Soft search by william hill - what could this be for?

Hi all

Just checked my credit history on Credit Karma, and on 11.07.20 there was a soft seach by "whg (international) ltd t/a william hill" for the purpose of "anti-money laundering".

Any idea what this could be, and anyone else had one? I know nothing bad will happen, won't affect me yada yada, but I'm curious as to what it could be for, seeing as I have no dealings whatsoever with William Hill.

Not checked them yet as the others are blocked at work.

Just wondering it could just be a mistake on the one site.

Its a soft search, it is irrelevant.

I know that, I did say in my OP. But if it is not for me, I might see if I can get it removed anyway.
