The_Boss said:Just checked my Experian report via the MSE moneyclub. All looks ok, except the monthly balance on my Halifax credit card is massively overstated (between two to four times the actual balance). The balances for this card look fine on Equifax.
I'm applying for a mortgage in October, so with affordability being one of the criteria that is scored should I raise this with Experian or will the notice of correction potentially kybosh mortgage applications?
MSE Credit Club only updates once a month. This means the data it contains is often one or two calendar months out of date.
I wouldn't worry about how it presents the data to you and certainly wouldn't draw attention to things by adding a notice of correction to my Experian report.
Visit the horse and get your Experian credit report directly from its mouth. The information it contains will be (more) up to date.

There was a thread here about Lloyds group (LLoyds/HBOS/MBNA) not update credit reports for a few months: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/77147553.0
