Fridge Freezer Recommendations

The time has come to replace our 13 year old F/F. Trouble is we cannot find a replacement that comes close to what we have. It is integrated (it's an Indesit but no longer available) so looking for an alternative. It is standard integrated, 50/50 split, 1770 tall, 540 wide, 4 shelves in fridge, split salad drawers and four drawers in freezer. We have looked at Hoover, Hotpoint, HiSense, Candy, Sharp, Zanussi and Stoves. Most have some or the features we require and understand that compromise will be necessary, however, the one thing we do not want is a drop-down flap for the top compartment of the freezer. We had this feature on a previous F/F and it used to continually fall down just as you were closing the door until eventually it broke! Any ideas please?

Does not mention drop-down flap for the top compartment of the freezer, but you will need to confirm.

I have this Beko one, so can confirm it has 4 drawers. It's a bit more expensive than the Electriq model, but is frost-free and has a door alarm if you leave the fridge open (but not the freezer door). https://www.diy.com/departments/beko-icqfdb155-white-integrated-fridge-freezer/8690842256189_BQ.prd?utm_campaign=bau&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=awin&utm_content=Media+Content&utm_term=107159&awc=483_1597825251_085b60ab91cc1c7247671b8df0ba6d38

Yep, it's drop-down flap on top storage in freezer and it is delivering from September 17th, we were looking for something a little sooner but thanks for taking the trouble to reply.dogmaryxx said:Does not mention drop-down flap for the top compartment of the freezer, but you will need to confirm.

Thanks for all your tips, we have gone for a Beko, not this exact model but the FDB150 rather than the FDB155.ka7e said:I have this Beko one, so can confirm it has 4 drawers. The Which? top ten integrated fridge/freezers are all 55-56 cm wide.
If you have room for a wider machine, I suggest you sign up for Which?

If you have space for a freestanding FF, I recommend you go for that and fit a carcass to where the integrated appliance was. You get much more for your money this way.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I thought Beko had the reputation for exploding into flames? Or is that just their WMs?Le_Kirk said:

That was 2014 and only certain model numbers. Thanks for the concern though.Rosa_Damascena said:

I would like to resurrect this thread please, and would be glad of recent advice as to reliability and after sales experience you may have had. I am looking for a 70/30 fridge freezer and prices range from under £300 to £2500. I am replacing a 12-year old Bosch which is no longer frost-free. Some of the cheaper brands have shockingly awful one-star reviews on Trustpilot and so close to Black Friday the situation is rather muddied with false reductions and traders trying to clear dodgy or unreliable stock.
I would be grateful for any help or advice particularly from anybody who works with electricals - it is really difficult to imagine the build quality from an internet search!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
