What is the best composite door on the market in the UK?

Evening all,

I'm currently looking into purchasing a new front door, our old timber door has warped over the years and is becoming a pain to open and close. When coming to the conclusion that we needed a new front door I didn't realise it would be such a minefield but here we are!

Current options seem to be Doorstop, Rockdoor, Endurance and Solidor + generic Chinese doors installers try and push. Doorstop and Rockdoor seem to use a mix of foam/fibreglass cores with Endurance and Solidor using timber cores. All of these companies seem to have pretty dire reviews but these seem to be the best of what's available.

Our budget is £1200-£1500 with safety and durability being the main selling point.

Thanks!

Whatever you do do not use IG Doors. We have had more trouble with the composite door on our new build then any other door over the years. We are on door number 4 now and it still isn't right!

In our last house we used a local company Sheffield Window Centre and their door was of far better quality then the rubbish we have now.

Hometec is supposed to be good but I am not speaking from personal experience. They seem to be an insurers preferred supplier locally. https://hometec.co.uk/?gclid=CjwKCAjwm_P5BRAhEiwAwRzSO9ehHLnX4pm4SSYEFTFovMA4BCg8_v6D-TWs5qhwpdXVIlumtj2PVhoCL4cQAvD_BwE

I made a tentative enquiry this summer and a composite front door came to £1300 inc fitting. That would get you something like this door:
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

You'll hear horror stories about most door companies, at the end of the day its only going to be as good as the installers. We've had a grey Solidoor for the last 12 months, our front door faces North so isn't constantly being heated up and cooling all day and we couldn't be happier with it. We've had people knock on the door asking where we got it from. It's very solid and the thumb turn lock is a godsend - we haven't locked ourselves out because we aren't dense, but we also installed a hidden key safe (and ran it past insurers, who were fine as long as it was police approved) which again is very solid. Added bonus I can go out on bike rides without my keys.

We had frosted glass put in and had it laminated so that harder to break in. We used TimberCompositeDoors.com who are based locally to us but they are just a sales front-end for the installers, who were good.
