I have lost money investing in  overseas property with Movewithus in 2006 & 2007. I'm trying to find people who have invested in overseas property that have lost money and have either successfully or unsuccessfully claimed for losses from Movewithus. Thx Martin

Not sure what you are claiming for, investments go up and down, that is the nature of them. Losing out on an investment is not a reason for compensation.

Have you tried the Property Ombudsman, after making a formal complaint to the company?
As Clive_Woody says, losing money on an overseas property investment they sold you is not grounds for complaint.
  • That depends if the losses were just change in market value or due to some dubious activity by Movewithus.

It's a bit academic whether it was dubious activity or not, overseas property isn't regulated, unless you were advised by a uk regulated advisor, so the chances of getting any money back are slim to zero.
  • It all depends on how it was sold to you. I too have many questions about how investments were sold to me and I have had a torrid time trying g to get communications from them.
