Hotel Query

Help needed.....i had a hotel booked in Liverpool for May for 8 people. The hotel will not refund us the money, and have asked us to re-book - but as we would all be sharing 1 room and from 8 different households this is against government guidelines. Any advice on how we can get a refund would be appreciated. Thanks

If the booking is on a non refundable rate then a credit for future use is the best you can hope for.0

Was the hotel closed in May? If so whoever paid may have a chance of a chargeback from their bank. Although if you have been offered a credit then this may be regarded as sufficient. No harm in trying. Don't leave it much longer though as there is a time limit.0

8 people in one hotel room? Did this exceed the maximum advertised room occupancy?0

Is this signature living? Did you cancel or them?0

No just local and reading the local paper about them. They have several hotels in administration so you might struggle to get your money. But if they cancelled you are due it back.KerryB39 said:
Yes, signature living - they cancelled in May but now want us to re-book. Are you in the same position?_shel said:Is this signature living? Did you cancel or them?0
