Student finance support available to those with disabilities ?
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

That is the government’s argument for the policy. For those who already have LCW UC is available to encourage them to retrain or take up education. Those already in education who develop a health condition are expected to make use of student finance. I don't know much about student finance and have no knowledge of what is available. However it seems likely that in many cases students who develop a health condition will drop out of their studies if financial support is not readily available.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
