Hello.. could somebody please offer me some advice..I am a self employed window cleaner, with mainly elderly customers. My problem is that I have lost work due to some of my customers not wanting me to enter there property to clean the windows on the inside and with me caring for my mother with health conditions i don't really feel comfortable inside their properties anyway. i have lost approximately 20 per cent of turnover..my question is would you say I am entitled to claim the second self employment grant.

Yes. That is, assuming you are registered as self-employed, as you'll need your unique tax payer reference number to apply. If you're not on the HMRC database, you won't be able to have it.Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
