Part Furloughing

Hi

i was furloughed during April, May and started back working my hours half way through June. I have noticed that my July pay slip is made up of pay and furloughed pay which I can’t understand. My boss asked me about part furloughing and my response was that I had so much work to do that I would need to work all my hours so part furloughing me wouldn’t make sense. I never heard any more on the matter and it seems that she has gone ahead and part furloughed me without my knowledge. Is this allowed? It seems very underhand and I’m furious that she couldn’t even email me to say that she had decided to go ahead with part-furloughing me. When we discussed it weeks ago I said to her that at the end of the day she is the boss so it is ultimately her decision but I would at least have expected another conversation or something in writing! Is this just how things are rolling these days?
