How to fix lighting cable to wall?

I've bought some outdoor lights.
Can anyone recommend anytbi g suitable to attach the cable to a wall?
It may be brick but may also be plastic as I may attach them to the underside if some guttering somehow.

For fixing to the gutter or facia, you could use something like these:

Depends on what type of cable you've bought - if it's twin and earth then the clips shown into wood, or into pin-plugs.
If it's round cable then get some cable cleats.0 -
Note that the current Wiring Regulations now require sufficient metallic fixings to prevent the cable drooping and causing an entanglement hazard in the event of fire.
