We are looking for personal travel insurance to cover us for a possible trip to France in September. Battleface seem to be recommended quite often in various FB travel posts Has anyone had any experience of using their cover or recommend an insurer - we are 60+ Thank you

It's standard travel insurance , won't cover you for preexisting conditions etc
And will only cover people up to the age of 59 .
There are other insurers who may cover youEx forum ambassador

Thank you - yes it is standard insurance with no pre-existing conditions cover - they offer cover for people over 59 but of course it is more expensive. I am looking at alternatives too0

I took out cover recently with Battleface to go to France after the FCO changed its guidance and advised against travel. Almost all insurers will refuse to cover for travel against FCO advice and Battleface is the only option I could find. My reading of the small print is that it does cover people aged 59 and over but this age group does not have COVID cover. All the other coverage seems to apply. People aged 58 and under are covered for COVID treatment.0
