Hi
Has anyone been able to get a refund from lastminute.com? How did you manage it? i booked flights through last minute.com the airline in June contacted me to tell me my flights were canceled and i could transfer or get a refund. I emailed all the evidence to customer service email. They keep on sending me a standard email in response. The only time i got a slightly different email was when i said i would file a complaint and they said that would hold up my refund. When I called the number then i got that they didn't have any record that it was cancelled. Nearer the trip I couldn't get to talk to anyone just book extra bags and check in. My trip has now been and gone 19th July to 5th August. On my lastminute account it showed as still going, I obtained proof my flights never went from Heathrow. i have emailed and i still can't get anything back from them. Has anyone got an email address or anything or any advise. I have obtained the form from my credit card company which i paid with for the flights and i am thinking i may be better going that route. My insurance company have said they will not cover as it is a pandemic. According to the airline company i should get my money back (they have been emailing me) but i have to get the money off lastminute.com
Thanks a quite stressed woman, this holiday was to Malaysia so we are not talking a small amount of money.

Same boat alas. I've given up and am pursing a chargeback from my credit card company instead at the minute.1

Some airlines are taking 3 months or more to issue refunds, and Lastminute will want the airline refund before they transfer it to you.
Virgin Atlantic are now at 120 days or something daft!1 -

I booked and paid £477.00 for a flight in August 2019 leaving 31st January 2020 returning 31st March 2020 with Lastminute.com flying with Oman airways, my flight home was cancelled so I had to get a flight myself costing £503.00 arriving back 26th March I have rung and emailed but am still waiting for a refund that's 7 months now.0

What you are due is not a refund (the value of your inbound flight would be peanuts) but the cost of re-routing.
