PCN in London - Please help!

Hi all,
First off, thank you for taking the time to read this. This is officially my first post on the forum and would appreciate some advice here. I was in Queensway, London this evening 17/04/20 and got a PCN for parking in a loading area where it also stated no return within 1 hour/no waiting midday to 7am. My partner and I came back to my car 30/40 mins after I parked up so thought this would be okay.
I saw loads of other cars parked there but didn’t get a PCN...I was under the assumption that I can park there if I returned within the hour, given that it was 8.30pm I didn’t think they were enforcing this (stupid of me I know). Has anyone managed to wriggle out of this successfully? £65 is very steep right now...any advice on whether I can overturn this would be very very much appreciated.

The no return rule only applies to people loading between 7am and midday. It's on one plate.
The ones above apply midday to 7am. No waiting or loading so no-one could park then. Regardless of other cars parked!
I would post about this on pepipoo to ask them if they can see an 'out' for you, if you show them your pics (NO HOTMAIL ALLOWED):

We mainly deal with private parking charges - aka scam tickets.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
The ticket was issued at 8:39pm today.
The sign says: No Waiting Midday - 7am and No Loading Midday - 7am.
8:39pm is between Midday and 7am.
Anyway, we tend to concentrate on private parking tickets here.
Your best bet is to post on Pepipoo.com where there is greater expertise in council tickets.
Do not try to login there with a hotmail email address - it won't work.2 -
Yep Pepipoo is the place for this one but don't hold too many hopes, parking in Queensway against the obvious restrictions on the signs was bound to get you a ticket.I don't live near or work in London any more thankfully, but it always struck me if police were as plentiful and on the ball as traffic wardens crime would be halved in the central zones.1
