Question on 0% purchase card - M&S Bank – 20 months 0%

in Credit cards
I've always used CC's, but always 0% balance transfer ones to shift reducing debt around. We are currently looking at a few larger purchases over the next 6 months for the home, and I saw the above M&S card (20 months 0% on purchases) recommended on here.
do the purchases need to be made within a set time to qualify for the 0% offer? I think years ago it was only for purchases made within the first 3 months etc, but does anyone know if this card could be used for purchases over the next 12 months, with all purchases qualifying for the 20 month period offer?
Not sure how it works

It says as clear as day on the website - 0% on all purchases for 20 months. Obviously, the longer you leave it, the less time you will have to pay off the card at 0%.0
