Miele oven

I have Accidentally started the discale programme on my miele oven... It won’t let me cancel it and therefore cannot use oven until I do. Does anyone know how to restore factory settings? Calling an engineer out is going to be very expensive for such a small job.

What's wrong with just letting the programmes run? Have you tried turning the oven off at the power.0

As above, if you turn off the oven circuit and leave for a while before switching on, most appliances 'forget' their settings. However I can't see what harm can be done by letting a program run.1

What about those occasions on which you need to bake a batch of emergency cakes?Davesnave said:As above, if you turn off the oven circuit and leave for a while before switching on, most appliances 'forget' their settings. However I can't see what harm can be done by letting a program run.

Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

That doesn't really sound like us, but if it were to happen, we'd use the second oven. That's the one we seem to use at Christmas, New Year, and special occasions. My OH has ovens like I have fishing rods. I only use the one, but it's nice to have the others 'just in case.'Rosa_Damascena said:
