The only thing you can do is chase them up youselves. I got the same BS from our solicitor, chased up the local authority and the company, turns out the solicitor never applied for them! kicked off, and miraculously they were applied for and back within 5 days.0

You can’t do much other than chase them up. The time for them to come back varies hugely amongst the local authorities involved. I am in the process of buying and ours took 3 weeks to come back and then 2 weeks for my solicitor to review them to raise queries to the sellers solicitor.0

Im chasing daily. If it was a delay with the local authority I would understand but both my buyer and the person we are buying off have had searches back, both send after ours and both in the same local authority as us! Frustrating!kasqueak said:You can’t do much other than chase them up. The time for them to come back varies hugely amongst the local authorities involved. I think you must have psychic powers. I emailed the local council myself and they have no reference of the searches we are apparently waiting for! Have spoken to solicitor who told me this couldn’t be true so I forwarded her the email.... watch this space!diego_94 said:The only thing you can do is chase them up youselves.
