I recently painted a small hall table with Wilko's furniture paint and was really pleased with it. I'm waiting to complete on a house and should be moving soon so passing the waiting time with a couple of projects.
So I decided to paint a Welsh Dresser and chose Slate Grey this time. I got a 2.5 ltr tin. I've given the dresser 2 coats, its a large dresser with 3 doors and 3 drawers, I've also done a large and a small chest of drawers, a nest of 3 tables, a mirror and a lamp stand. The paint goes on beautifully, has a really nice sheen and covers well. The tin was only £20 and it's a better paint than any of the ones I've tried before. I really recommend it and I've still got half of the tin left, really good value.
The only down side- my hubby has now taken it off me as he's afraid that I'm going to end up painting every bit of furniture we own!

I've used Wilko paint- emulsion, water based gloss & water based u/coat for many years and I have always been pleased with the results.
The emulsion I really liked was the extra tough- or whatever it is called because it is fairly matt but easy to wipe.
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I always used Dulux until I couldn't find a particular shade of blue. I then found the shade I wanted in Wilko's range and was surprised by the good quality. Now I always use Wilko's paints.I can't imagine a life without cheese. (Nigel Slater)1
