Setting up energy new home
Good afternoon,
Need a little bit of help, we our buying our first home and moving in on wednesday after living with in laws for 2 years to save up.
I want to make sure I'm on cheapest possible deals to start with, can I use uswitch even though I'm setting up for first time? It keeps coming up with previous supplier

1} Take a meter reading the day you move in.... take photos for good measure.2)You will have been told who the current supplier is - register with them.3) You will be on a deemed (expensive) tariff so4) use a comparative site to work out who to move to (work on an annual consumption of 9000 KwH for gas, 3000 KwH for electricity, (unless you're in a huge/tiny house)5) move your supplier... dual fuel may not be as good a deal as having separate suppliers.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660
