Will selling my home and moving effect me and my partner's Pension Credit?

Hi. I'm 68 and my partner will soon be 61. We receive Pension Credit ((PC) but we are thinking of moving.
We are home owners and will likely make a profit on the sale. What is the maximum savings you can have before PC is not allowed?
Although my partner not registered disabled she is mentally and physically not able to work.
We can't even claim Universal Credit because my pension is £150.

Savings of more than £10,000 will reduce your pension credit by £1 for every £500 or (part there of) over that amount.

Does your partner claim any health benefits?0

Every £500 or part of £500 of capital over £10,000 is assumed to give you a weekly income of £1 a week. This is called ‘deemed income’. The same limits apply for both single people and couples. If you have a partner, their capital is added to yours.

She had an interview for PIP and would have got it but it happened at the same time as we got Pension Credit so we just decided to drop the PIP claim.
Looking back that was maybe a bad move?PIP and pension credit are 2 completely different benefits and one doesn't affect the other in a bad way. PIP isn't means tested so other income/savings/capital doesn't affect it at all.Although you don't get NI credits from claiming PIP.0 -
She can always make a new claim for PIP if you think she meets the criteria.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
