Kitchen Magic

Its usually anathema to swicth the TV on during the day but I'm running HGTV on mute in the background.

The lovely Debbie McGee is advertising Kitchen Magic, which I understand is a refurb company and an option if your carcasses are sound and you just want to change doors, counters etc. Anyone tried them, and what are your thoughts? Its not for me, its for my Mum who's getting excited about my kitchen project but increasingly grumpy about her own. She doesn't want to spend on a total refit and the layout works but after living with it for over 25 years I think she deserves a refresh at least.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

Didn't use KM, but did a kitchen refresh with new doors on old carcasses. That was pretty simple, but changing drawer fronts was a pain as the old ones wouldn't come off without damaging the drawer. We ended up buying new drawers and had to replace all the runners as they weren't compatible. It's certainly an economical solution and you get a brand new look, without the disruption of having a complete re-fit. We changed the worktop too and got a smaller sink as we had a dishwasher put in - we would not have been able to get an integrated door in the old design as it was discontinued. We also bought a couple of extra larder doors which allowed us to have them adapted to form coordinated end panels.
