Will I have a credit check? Administrator role in a prison

I'm not sure anyone can add anything to what's already been posted, and you probably aren't going to make yourself feel better by repeatedly posting about how anxious you are. Of course you are, but you have two options: contact your potential employer and double check what is required, or wait and bite your nails. Grasping the nettle and doing the former might save a lot of nibbled nails...JJC15 said:
I will be 100% up front with them, I have so much anxiety over this meaning I won’t be given a start date because I haven’t passed the vetting. I know bankruptcy is a no no and CCJ’s, I have none of those but I’m well aware an IVA is classed as a serious financial situation. 😔. I was so happy when I found out I got the job and now I’ve never been so worried 🥺 xxBrackenfield said:If you get any forms relating to money, I'd call and ask HR what you need to put based on your circumstances. Better to be upfront in this situation xx0 -
Depends on the category of the prison, I was in an IVA when I was appointed to a position within a Cat B/C prison, you have to be completely honest on the vetting forms and disclose you are in an IVA, as long as you don't try to hide it, it won't preclude you from passing the vetting, they don't do a credit check but it does specifically ask on the forms about your finances and any IVA/bankruptcy0

This is very helpful thank you for responding. It is a category C prison. I’ve been in touch today to chase my documents from HR as I’m yet to receive anything, I will be open and honest I just didn’t want it to be an instant decline, because of my confession on the forms?Restitch said:Depends on the category of the prison, I was in an IVA when I was appointed to a position within a Cat B/C prison, you have to be completely honest on the vetting forms and disclose you are in an IVA, as long as you don't try to hide it, it won't preclude you from passing the vetting, they don't do a credit check but it does specifically ask on the forms about your finances and any IVA/bankruptcy0
