Heads up, compers! In order to investigate a technical issue, we've had to move some of the older threads from Game Over into a new category called 'Game Over Archives'. It'll be comps from before 2017, so shouldn't have too much impact on your day-to-day Forum experience. Thanks for your patience!

Do I need multiple emails?

Hi all,
I am new to comping and was wondering if I can use the same email to enter an online competition multiple times. So far I have entered 10+ times and have only received 1 confirmation email. I am not sure if the website is registering my multiple entries or not. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

It depends entirely on the T&Cs. Alot of competitions are once entry per person.

What competition is it, you got a link?
It's worth having a different email address from the one you use for normal day to day life, just so you don't get too much spam in your personal inbox (by spam, I mean more of the Newsletter type emails that you sometimes have to sign up to to enter the competition).
I wouldn't be using two different email addresses for the same competition though, if they spot it  (same address / phone number etc with 2 different emails) then they could just disqualify you because even though a competition might be daily entry or multiple entries, it might still be limited to 1 person per household.
