What is wrong with my roses?

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong with my roses?  As the new foliage comes through there is a distinct lack of chlorophyll.   The leaves are blotchy and pale yellow , some are patchy red.  They are not burned by chemical overspray/ drift nor watered in bright sunlight so I think the problem is systemic and not a reaction to care/ management.   The plants were new one and 2 years ago and planted in good soil and fed and watered regularly.  They get enough sunlight.  Apart from this, they seem to be growing and flowering well.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm not saying it is, but it might be a virus. One photo says 'Golden Wedding' and that cultivar is an old favourite about 30 years old. As roses gain more viruses as they age, people are often better off going for one of the newer varieties which should be 'cleaner.'
If it's not a virus, it might be weedkiller damage; you'd probably know of the likelihood of that.
By the way, on the new Forum you don't need to get your photos hosted by a 3rd party.

Red new foliage is common, it goes green once it gets older.
The blotching could just be sun scorch with the weather we've had

It's definitely not weedkiller damage as I haven't used weedkiller this year.  I suspected a virus but the supplier thinks not ( David Austin roses) and they know a LOT more than me about roses. It is present in 7 roses bought at different times.  I didn't know how to shrink my photo or I would have uploaded it to the forum directly, it was huge and filling the page, so I went old style, but thanks for your help. I was wondering if this was typical of heat stress as we have had a very unpredictable seasons with extremes of growing conditions.

I was hoping it was some kind of scorch as that would probably not occur another year and would be better than having a virus..
I have, and expect to have, red leaves on several plants but it's just the weird blotchy appearance and complete lack of green colouring which is the puzzle. Thanks for your reply.

It probably isn't virus damage then. That's positive. :)

The red leaves look healthy and shiny despite the colour which is a good sign so it may just be stress. Was the pot root bound when you planted it? Did you tease out some roots on planting?
The yellowing looks a bit like some sort of leaf miner or aphid damage but it could be heat, nutrients, water. It could even be water on the leaves that has intensifed the sunlight.
My guess from the pattern would be aphids. The weather has been so conducive to every sort of bug this year. But the leaves seem intact so I think it will pass as new growth comes on.
A lot of nursery plants were kept at the growers in unusual conditions over the lockdown when they should have been going to nurseries and sold. It's put them under stress however much care was taken plus the heat then varing temperatures in the gardens.
