Quote for electrical work

A relative needs quite a bit of work done on his property (house, annexe, shed, stables and barn) and has received the following quote. Having been assured that it is a good price, he is reluctant to seek other quotes. Given that the total including VAT is just over £5,000, I would be grateful if someone could just give me an idea of whether this is in the ball park or not. It is on a supply and install basis and my relative lives in West Wales. I have no idea what labour rates are like there as I live in south east of England.

It does seem very cheap. The two Haverland heaters are over £600, on their own, and those plus all the other materials will take the materials to at least £1200 (for the house), so the labour is just £1000 or four days for one installer who is working very cheaply. It's not inconceivable that an electrician would charge this little, and it is appears that we are not looking at a rewiring job, but I would check who they are registered with, that the quote includes all the building regs compliance, and they can provide some reference customers who can confirm the quality of the work.
It would be worth putting some extra money aside in case the electrician has under-priced the job, as they will need to charge for small extras that would otherwise have just been absorbed. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Thanks for the input, provides peace of mind given that he's reluctant to get other quotes. The electrician was recommended by neighbours and it does also include certification.0

Very cheap should not give "peace of mind". The question should be why is the quote so cheap?
