Good morning everyone.
This is my first post for some time but I have been 'lurking' on here since day one of this thread!!!

Firstly, I would like to thank the person who told us all to log into our Next accounts to see if we were a VIP customer this time. I would never have thought of this - and by the time I received my email inviting me all the best time slots would have gone.

With regards to the 'codes' - personally I do not think there will be any this time. In the summer sale I was lucky enough to discover what the code was and placed my full order before the code stopped working. I had ordered and received ALL of my sale items 3 days before the VIP sale had even started. If couriers and staff have already placed their orders I am confident that the code would have been shared by now.

I must admit I don't want too much this year as I have been quite disappointed in the current range for both women and girls. I also feel that Next have increased their prices this season - particularly with kids clothes. So, even if I manage to pick up items at half price it still won't feel like a 'real' bargain - does that make sense?

bubbleyou, i totally agreee with you, i have a small list (well it is for me) and now that my daughter is out of the cute 4-5 years range and is in the older 5-6 years range, there is not so much i like for her anymore. most of my list is for my kids.

The best thing for everyone to do is just chill out. You're all winding yourselves up and creating a false demand for stuff.

The VIP slots are nothing of the sort, they're merely a way for Next to stagger orders so that they don't have to bother spending a few 10's of thousands on proper system infrastructure, essentially they're a mickey mouse outfit with good profits.

I personally don't think the VIP slots are a fair way of doing it, when all they need to do is properly invest in their IT so that it can take the strain.

I have often wondered why Next don't offer more age rabges. By this I mean, for example, 12 months to 4yrs, 5yrs to 9 yrs, 10yrs to 16yrs.

Personally I don't want my 5 year old wearing the same clothes as a 15/16 year old and I'm sure not many 15/16 year olds would like to turn up at a party to find they are wearing the same as a 5 year old!!!!

i think you have to put the codes in the promo box when you log in with next

Hi - been watching this thread for a little while & just tried Next site to see if promo box was available but its not! It usually appears next to your log on details so I think they've removed it for the sale period. This also means no where for the free delivery codes but you could still go thro quidco for 3% - better than nowt!!

The vip sale list is going down fast. PLus the site is very glitchy at moment.

Reason it is not as friendly as the last cpl is there are no codes.

How can you go via quidco, when you have to use the thread in your email to log in to the vip sale? Would someone please explain, because I would be very happy if I could do that!!
