Hm, well the codes have finished running through. I had picked a random item which was shown in the VIP sale listing - and therefore definitely in the sale. Appending GM0 to the end comes up as a valid item number, BUT no discount shown.
I remember this happened last year though, and then at a later point the discount started appearing. It could also be possible that the item is listed in more than one diretory - like in the normal directory, then also in a special seasonal one, and could have a different item number. So it could just be that - if you see what I mean.0 -
why do we put ourselves through it every time the sale is about to start ?????
it's just sooooo addictive, my ds is having a great time getting into all the thngs he shouldn't while i'm sat here looking for that damm code !!!!

Just picked out another few random items from the sale listing, and tried GM0 on the end.
All of them come up as valid items, so that is promising. I tried items from mens, womens and home. All full price though at the moment. Although one item came up as 'sale price £0.00' but it was sold out.0 -
if anyone finds it working on most items please let me knowWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

they have to refund you what you paid, they cant refund you half of what you paid if you have your receipt with you! if the shops are that mean they need reporting, surely cant be legal. return them visa the directory as they will issue you a full refund as i done this last sale with them
next shop and next online are two different companies under the same name in the shops can only give what the computers latest price is but the difference from that and what you paid is taken off your account balance0 -

Hiya,
I wouldn't try that; Next have changed their refund policy and I konw my store does not accept full price items even with a receipt if they've since come on sale! Mean, I know but had a load of things i bought last year (first time mum-to-be excitement:o ) which I then discovered they wouldn't take back!!!!
Didn't give up tho' and tried a different (busier) store where the SA (a man this time!) rung it thru' for a full refund!
I'm desperate for a jacket for my lil boy too...just seen a deal on HUKD in Vertbaudet; don't like using them (not reliable at all) but if all else fails and I can't find anything on the 27th....oh welll...
Here's to some lovely clever MSEr cracking the code!!!!0 -
so what if you buy something from store at full price and return it once the sale has started? doesnt seem fairWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

i have ordered on line from my credit card and took it back to store if it's cheaper in the sale and they've always given me the full amount back to my card. however they don't have to give refunds at all unless the product is not fit for purpose, they give refunds if you change your mind as a good will gesture.0

As long as you have the receipt, Next will refund the amount on the receipt. They only give you the current selling price if you don't have a receipt.:hello:0
