I've just finished developing a website for someone and it suddenly dawned on me that it might be of use to some people here... (honestly, it's not my site, and sorry if it sounds like blatent advertising, but it's worth taking a look).
The site is https://www.barclayhomes.co.uk and during October you can sign up for the Silver package for free. Your house details automatically get uploaded to Asserta Homes, Property Finder and Fish4, so you're getting a 'four for one' deal really.

I have had a look.
It is cheap if nothing else.
They will advertise your house on the internet.
It is not a full monte Estate Agent's Service.
You might like to pay them £30 then you can advertise Barratt Homes , and your own, on a House for sale Board.
See for yourself................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
No, it's not an estate agent for very good reasons - if it were they would be bound by some pretty tough laws and hence the price would be higher.
They've only just started and so they're hoping the free offer will bring in the punters, they're also advertising in local press etc. so it should pick up.0 -
N.B. "They are NOT bound by some pretty tough laws"
It is a free offer and it might be well worth the money................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
Try using https://www.getterbetterhome.co.uk. They aren't the biggest but ive had many enquiries through them so it must be where people go.
Good name as well!!0 -
Another free one that I have used successfully is www.homesonsale.co.uk
it is also useful for people searching for properties abroad.0
