Ryanair refund

I booked tickets in December with Ryanair for my husband and I together with our family (a total of 9 people) to go to Portugal on 21st August at a cost of nearly £2,000. My husband has a heart condition and, due to coronavirus, our GP has advised him not to travel. I had been hoping that the flight would be cancelled so I could get a refund, but that appears unlikely.
1. Can we claim under our travel insurance for the total amount or do my family have to claim under their own individual policies?
2. I paid by credit card. Could I get a refund from my credit card provider?

If your insurance covers FCO advice, you would claim under your policy for your flights and the others would claim against their own policies for theirs
Credit card claim would not be applicable and would fail if the flights are operating1
