DFDS Flexi Ticket - not got Refund yet almost 3-weeks

Hi - I use DFDS Dover - Calais about 4 times a year. We had a crossing booked for Aug 4th but when the U.K. government said “Essential Travel” only I went on line on July 26th and cancelled it.
At the time - I remember waiting for the “ping” of an incoming email but it didn’t happen so I went back to my account and saw that the booking had moved from “active” to the “previous bookings” and the phrase “You currently have no active bookings..........” - so I thought “ok I’ll probably get an email shortly” and left it at that. I did try to call them originally to cancel it but was on hold for so long that I finally decided to do it myself as the option was available to me.
I have sent them an email but I am now wondering - has anyone else had a similar problem - are they just late with refunds or are they going to try and wriggle out of issuing a refund?

I need to “reel my neck in and have more faith” - amazing how this virus has made me so cynical.
On a Friday - that must be one of the worst / busiest days of the year for DFDS - I have received an email - just a few hours after sending my enquiry that reads:
Thank you for your e mail. I can advise your refund has now been processed please allow up to 5 days to clear into your account. Please accept our apologies for the delay in refunding your booking.Kind regards
I could have just deleted my post - but I thought it only right that I apologise for doubting DFDS.1
