Car insurance - final policy differs from quote provided

I recently took out some car insurance with Sainsburys Bank via Compare the Market. I included no claims discount protection (NCD). They quoted me just over £306 for the car insurance which I accepted and paid for,
The policy documents have now come through in the post and says this is NOT included. I rang to correct and was told I would have to cancel my policy and take a new one, and the price would now increase to £491. I assumed I had made a mistake and said I would think about it.
I've now checked the quote from Compare the Market and Sainsburys and it clearly states NCD protection is included. I feel they should therefore honour this and not increase the price. Before I call back, any advice on what rights I have to insist on this? I can only show screenshots of the quotes on my screen to prove it and of course there are no email addresses listed to show this to, I can only call so feel like they will not believe me!
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Aggergators like Compare the Market, Confused.com always say you should check the quote on the insurer's website before buying... did you do this or just clicked through to buy?
Ultimately register a complaint with the screenshots and take it from there but CtM is an independent company and the reason they say to double check the quote is there is not a 1-2-1 mapping on all questions/answers etc and so mismatches can happen.
Worth also raising a complaint with CtM too.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I've been able to click through from CtM as I wondered if that could be the case and it does say on Sainsburys its included.
I'll raise issue with Sainsburys and see how far I get!
