Disneyland Paris Package Cancellation Options?

Hi, this is my first post so not sure if I am asking in the correct place?
We booked a package trip to Disneyland Paris and also a night in Paris for April this year through a travel counsellor in Autumn 2019. When lockdown started we agreed to rearrange the trip for end of September. We had insurance booked with Insure and Go and they agreed to transfer the policy to the new dates. The policy documents are the same and don't reference covid as an exclusion.
Before France was added to the quarantine list this week, we were informed Air France had cancelled our return late night flight and moved us to an early morning flight meaning we would lose our whole day in Paris. We enquired about whether there were options to cancel or rearrange as we were concerned that it would be added to the list and therefore out child would miss a lot of school. The TC has come back with an option for next March but said if we cancel there would be 100% charge. We don't know if our insurance company would transfer the policy again if we chose March.
Can anyone help advise us on options?
Can we continue with the dates for the end of September and if the quarantine is lifted - still go? And if it isn't would we be able to cancel through insurance or would we not be able to because the option for almost 6 months later has been offered? We don't really want this hanging over our heads for another 6 months so are thinking we would rather just go (if safe to do so) or wait until it is cancelled by the holiday company or that FCO advise not to go? Would our insurance cover us?
Thank you for any help!

I'd be quite surprised if France is still off the list at the end of September, but there is no real way of knowing. As to what the insurance companies response will be only they will know that so speak to them.
However it seems a little strange to be taking a child out of school a couple of weeks after they have returned having missed 4 months of school this year already.0 -
Hi, he will only be starting school for the first time in September and he has been in nursery so hasn't missed 4 months of school or nursery. It would only be 2 days out of school as over a weekend and as a 4yo, legally doesn't have to be there. When it was rearranged we didn't know schools would be closed for so long. But of course that is a concern for me and also even more of a concern is the possibility of a further 2 weeks off if quarantined.
Update:
We have been offered to be moved to the flight the next morning and an extra night in hotel by travel agent to compensate for change in flight time. So now I need to get hold of insurance company to see what impact that would have as it changes our dates.0
