P&O cruise cancellation

At the moment p&o have cancelled all cruises until 12th November. I'm due to travel on the 14th & so my cruise hasn't been cancelled. The balance is due this Sunday.
At the moment they say they won't give me a credit note & if I cancel I'll lose £180
Do I have any rights to get my money back back!
Thanks for any advice

They will only refund your deposit if they cancel the cruise. I'm in a similar situation with Cunard - my full payment is due 2nd September 2020 for a Cruise on 1st December 2020. I don't think the cruise will go ahead but I'm going to bite the bullet and pay the full balance by 2nd September. If they cancel I will take the Future Cruise Credit of 125%.Moonflowers said:Because of family circumstances we don't want to be go on the cruise now.
I'm wondering how I can get my deposit refunded or credited future travel1 -
From the P&O FAQs it looks as though you had until up to 90 days before sailing to move your deposit to a future booking of any cruise on sale at that time, regrettably you have missed that boat now. As has been said your only options now are cancel and lose the deposit, or pay the full balance and either take the cruise if it sails, or whatever offer is given when the cruise is cancelled.Moonflowers said:Because of family circumstances we don't want to be go on the cruise now.
